Chambers, Jr. City Council Chambers Finance Committee Finance Committee Standing Committee Meeting May 11, 2018 Minutes 1. Call To Order Chairman Arnett called the meeting to order at 1012 a.m. 2. Roll Call Present: 2- Alderman Arnett and Alderwoman Finlayson 3. Business before Committee a. Approval of Minutes FC051018 Approval of Minutes for the Regular Meeting 4. Finance Committee Deliberations Acting City Manager Stokes, Finance Operations Manager Pletzer, Alderwoman Tierney, City Manager Sutherland, Alderman Paone, and Captain Amoia were present and answered questions from the committee. Meeting went into Recess Meeting Reconvened O-16-18 Annual Operating Budget: Fiscal Year 2019 - For the purposes of adopting an operating budget for the City of Annapolis for Fiscal Year 2019; appropriating funds for expenditures for Fiscal Year 2019; defraying all expenses and liabilities of the City of Annapolis and levying same for the purposes specified; specifying certain duties of the Director of Finance; and specifying a rate of interest to be charged upon overdue property taxes. Alderwoman Finlayson moved to recommend with amendments. Seconded. A roll call vote was taken. The motion CARRIED by the following vote: Aye: 3- Alderman Arnett, Rodriguez and Alderwoman Finlayson CIP Alderwoman Finlayson moved to amend the CIP to reflect the change in City of Annapolis Page 1 Finance Committee Standing Committee Meeting May 11, 2018 Minutes Pay-Go and Capital Reserve fund to 2,000,000. Seconded. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 3- Alderman Arnett, Rodriguez and Alderwoman Finlayson Enterprise Fund Alderwoman Finlayson moved to approve. Seconded. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 3- Alderman Arnett, Rodriguez and Alderwoman Finlayson Summary of General Fund Increases Alderwoman Finlayson moved to approve. Seconded.
