1. Call To Order
Chairman Arnett called the meeting to order at 10:36 a.m.
2. Roll Call
Present: 2- Alderman Arnett and Alderman Finlayson
3. Business before Committee
a. Approval of Minutes
FC091918 Approval of Minutes for the Regular Meeting
Alderwoman Finlayson moved to approve. Seconded. A roll call vote was
taken. The motion CARRIED by the following vote:
Aye: 2- Alderman Arnett and Alderman Finlayson
Absent: 1- Rodriguez
b. Appointments and reappointments to Committees
AP-37-18 The Re-Appointment of Faye B. Currie to the Financial Advisory Commission
Alderwoman Finlayson moved to recommend favorably. Seconded. A roll
call vote was taken. The motion CARRIED by the following vote:
Aye: 2- Alderman Arnett and Alderman Finlayson
Absent: 1- Rodriguez
4. Legislation before Committee
O-29-18 Lease of Truxtun Park to Kayak Annapolis, LLC - For the purpose of
approving the lease of certain City-owned property at Truxtun Park to authorize the
operation of a kayak water touring business; and matters generally relating to said
lease.
Finance Director Dickinson, Finance Operations Manager Pletzer, and Assistant Attorney
Berger were present and answered questions from the committee. Request for Director
of Recs and Parks, Harbor Master, and Assistant Attorney Leonard be present at the
next meeting.
Alderwoman Finlayson moved to postpone. Seconded. A roll call vote was
taken. The motion CARRIED by the following vote:
Aye: 2- Alderman Arnett and Alderman Finlayson
Absent: 1- Rodriguez
