Chambers, Jr. City Council Chambers Finance Committee Finance Committee Standing Committee Minutes March 20, 2019 1. Call To Order Chairman Arnett called the meeting to order at 10:32 a.m. 2. Roll Call Present: 2- Alderman Arnett and Alderman Paone Absent: 1- Alderman Finlayson 3. Approval of Agenda (any changes to the agenda should be made here) Alderman Paone moved to adopt the Regular Meeting Agenda. Seconded. A roll call vote was taken. The motion CARRIED by the following vote: Aye: 2- Alderman Arnett and Alderman Paone Absent: 1- Alderman Finlayson 4. Business before Committee a. Approval of Minutes FC02.22.19 Approval of Minutes for the Regular Meeting Alderman Paone moved to approve. Seconded. A roll call vote was taken. The motion CARRIED by the following vote: Aye: 2- Alderman Arnett and Alderman Paone Absent: 1- Alderman Finlayson b. Annual Election of Committee Chair Alderman Paone moved to approve the re-election of Alderman Arnett as the Finance Committee Chair. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 2- Alderman Arnett and Alderman Paone Absent: 1- Alderman Finlayson 5. Legislation before Committee O-8-19 Grow Annapolis, Inc. Lease Agreement - For the purpose of approving the lease for certain City-owned property located at the corner of Jefferson Street and Brashears Street, Annapolis, Maryland 21403, between Grow Annapolis, Inc. and the City of Annapolis; and matters generally relating to said lease. Fire Chief Stokes, and Assistant City Attorney Leonard were present and answered questions from the committee. The motion CARRIED by the following vote: Aye: 2- Alderman Arnett and Alderman Paone Absent: 1- Alderman Finlayson 6. General Discussion ID-383-18 Update from the Finance Director Finance Director Dickinson was present and provided the committee with an update. 7.
