Chambers, Jr. City Council Chambers Finance Committee Finance Committee Standing Committee Meeting December 2, 2020 Minutes Virtual Meeting 1. Call To Order Chairman Arnett called the meeting to order at 10:32 a.m. 2. Roll Call Present: 3- Alderman Arnett, Alderman Paone and Alderwoman Finlayson 3. Approval of Agenda (any changes to the agenda should be made here) Alderwoman Finlayson moved to adopt the Regular Meeting Agenda. Seconded. A roll call vote was taken. The motion CARRIED by the following vote: Aye: 3- Alderman Arnett, Alderman Paone and Alderwoman Finlayson 4. Business before Committee a. Approval of Minutes FC11.18.20 Approval of Minutes for the Regular Meeting Alderman Paone moved to approve the minutes for the Regular Meeting. Seconded. A roll call vote was taken. The motion CARRIED by the following vote: Aye: 3- Alderman Arnett, Alderman Paone and Alderwoman Finlayson b. Budget Revision Requests FT-4-21 General Fund Mayor, Fire, Police Transfer From: Fire Salaries and Benefits ($37,500.00); Police Salaries and Benefits ($37,500.00) Transfer To: Mayor Supplies and Other ($28,300.00); Mayor Contractual Services ($46,700.00) Mayor's Chief of Staff Smith, African American Liaison Ajayi, Manager of the L.E.A.D. Grant Edwards, City Manager Jarrell, and Police Administrative Manager McCoy were present and answered questions from the Committee. Alderman Paone moved to postpone FT-4-21 until the next meeting. Seconded. A roll call vote was taken. The motion CARRIED by the following vote: Aye: 3- Alderman Arnett, Alderman Paone and Alderwoman Finlayson c.
