Chambers, Jr. City Council Chambers Finance Committee Finance Committee Standing Committee Meeting February 17, 2021 Minutes Call To Order Chairman Arnett called the meeting to order at 10:34 a.m. Roll Call Present: 3- Alderman Arnett, Alderman Paone and Alderwoman Finlayson Approval of Agenda (any changes to the agenda should be made here) Alderwoman Finlayson moved to adopt the Regular Meeting Agenda. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 3- Alderman Arnett, Alderman Paone and Alderwoman Finlayson 1. Business and Miscellaneous Approval of Minutes FC02.03.21 Approval of Minutes for the Regular Meeting Alderwoman Finlayson moved to approve the minutes for the Regular Meeting. Seconded. A roll call vote was taken. The motion CARRIED by the following vote: Aye: 3- Alderman Arnett, Alderman Paone and Alderwoman Finlayson 2. Committee Discussions ID-11-21 Liquor License Fees Finance Director Dickinson, Economic Development Manager Rice, and City Manager Jarrell were present and answered questions from the Committee. Alderwoman Tierney, and Alderman Schandelmeier were present and addressed the Committee. Alderwoman Finlayson moved to postpone ID-11-21 until the next Finance Committee Meeting. Seconded. A roll call vote was taken. The motion CARRIED by the following vote: Aye: 3- Alderman Arnett, Alderman Paone and Alderwoman Finlayson ID-32-21 Anne Arundel Economic Development Corporation Restaurants/Food Services Grant Recipients Discussion: Small and Minority Business Enterprise Liaison, Hope Stewart Economic Development Manager Rice, and Finance Director Dickinson were present and answered questions from the Committee.
