Chambers, Jr. City Council Chambers Finance Committee Finance Committee Standing Committee Meeting May 4, 2022 Minutes Call To Order Chairwoman Tierney called the meeting to order at 10:10 a.m. Roll Call Present: 3- Alderwoman Tierney, Alderwoman O'Neill and Alderwoman Finlayson Approval of Agenda (any changes to the agenda should be made here) Alderwoman Finlayson moved to adopt the Special Meeting Agenda as amended to add SA-24-22. Seconded. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 3- Alderwoman Tierney, Alderwoman O'Neill and Alderwoman Finlayson 1. Business and Miscellaneous Approval of Minutes FC05.03.22 Approval of Minutes for the Special Meeting Attachments: FC05.03.22 Alderwoman O'Neill moved to approve the Minutes for the Special Meeting. Seconded. A roll call vote was taken. The motion CARRIED by the following vote: Aye: 3- Alderwoman Tierney, Alderwoman O'Neill and Alderwoman Finlayson Fund Transfers No action taken Supplemental Appropriations SA-24-22 Planning and Zoning - Grant - Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development Revenue: State Grant Revenue ($30,000.00) Expenditure: State Grant Expense ($30,000.00) Attachments: SA-24-22 Economic Policy Analyst Callahan and Finance Director Dickinson were present and answered questions from the committee. Alderman Gay was present and addressed the committee. Alderwoman Finlayson moved to recommend favorably SA-24-22. Seconded. A roll call vote was taken. Alderwoman Pindell Charles and Alderman Gay were present and addressed the committee. Committee Recessed at 1:04 p.m. Committee Reconvened at 1:28 p.m. Alderwoman O'Neill moved to recommend favorably the use of one time funds in the amount of $70,000.00 for the Substance Use Disorders program. Seconded. A roll call vote was taken.
