Call To Order
Alderwoman Tierney called the Regular Meeting to order at 10:42 am.
Approval of Agenda (any changes to the agenda should be made here)
Alderwoman O'Neill moved to amend the agenda to add SA-24-23 to the agenda.
Seconded. CARRIED on voice vote.

Approval of Minutes
Alderwoman Finlayson moved to approve FC 12.21.22. Seconded. CARRIED
on voice vote.

Supplemental Appropriations
SA-23-23 Grant - Police - Governor’s Office of Crime Control and Prevention. State Grant
Revenue - 25,000. State Grant Expense - 25,000.
This supplemental allocation appropriates $25,000 from the Governor’s Office of Crime
Control and Prevention for the Gun Violence Reduction grant. This grant will pay for
overtime costs related to reducing gun related crime. This grant was not included in the
FY2023 budget and there is no match required.

Acting Police Captain Miguez was present and answered questions from the
committee.
Alderwoman Finlayson moved to recommend SA-23-23 favorably. Seconded.

SA-24-23 Grant - Police - Governor’s Office of Crime Control and Prevention. This supplemental
allocation appropriates an additional $527,921 from the Governor’s Office of Crime
Control and Prevention to th State Aid for Police Protection grant. This is an increase to
the $1,000,000 included in the FY2023 budget. There is no match required.

Finance Director Dickinson was present and answered questions from the
committee.
Self Insurance Fund Balances
Finance Director Dickinson, Budget Analyst Connolly, and Risk Analyst
Bradley were present and answered questions from the committee.
Adjournment
Upon motion duly made, seconded and adopted, the Regular Meeting was
adjourned at 11:22am.
