Chambers, Jr. City Council Chambers Finance Committee Finance Committee Standing Committee Meeting March 6, 2024 Minutes - Final Call To Order Alderwoman Tierney called the Regular Meeting to order at 10:31 am. Roll Call Present: 3- Alderwoman Tierney, Alderwoman Finlayson and Alderwoman O'Neill Approval of Agenda (any changes to the agenda should be made here) Alderwoman Finlayson moved to approve the Regular Meeting Agenda. Seconded. CARRIED on voice vote. Business and Miscellaneous Approval of Minutes FC 2.21.24 Regular Meeting Minutes Attachments: FC 2.21.24 Alderwoman O'Neill moved to approve FC 2.21.24. Seconded. CARRIED on voice vote. Supplemental Appropriations SA-26-24 General - Department of Planning & Zoning - Community Legacy Fund Attachments: SA-26-24 Finance Director Dickinson and Assistant to the Planning and Zoning Director Brown were present and answered questions from the council. Alderwoman Finlayson moved to recommend SA-26-24 favorably. Seconded. CARRIED on voice vote. SA-27-24 General - Department of Planning & Zoning - Contributions from Impact Study Fee Attachments: SA-27-24 Finance Director Dickinson and Assistant to the Planning and Zoning Director Brown were present and answered questions from the council. Alderwoman Finlayson moved to recommend SA-27-24 favorably. Seconded. CARRIED on voice vote. The committee took a 3 minute recess to reboot the system. Meeting went into Recess City of Annapolis Page 2 Finance Committee Standing Committee Meeting March 6, 2024 Minutes - Final General Discussion ID-14-24 Finance Department Update Meeting Reconvened Finance Director Dickinson and Assistant City Attorney Leonard were present and answered questions from the committee with a Skippers Lane update. Alderwoman Finlayson requested that Public Works Director Vogel provide an update on the financing of the skippers lane road project. Assistant City Manager Buckland and Finance Director Dickinson were present and provided an update on filling open positions in the Finance Department. Chair Tierney requested a hard copy of the Finance Committee Budget Departmental Schedule (IN-Color) be provided to the committee members at their next meeting. Alderwoman O'Neill left the meeting at 11:04 am. Adjournment Upon motion duly made, seconded and adopted, the Regular Meeting was adjourned at 11:14am.
