Chambers, Jr. City Council Chambers Finance Committee Finance Committee Standing Committee Meeting July 3, 2024 Minutes - Final Call To Order Alderwoman Tierney called the Regular Meeting to order at 10:34 am. Roll Call Present: 2- Alderwoman Tierney and Alderwoman O'Neill Absent: 1- Alderwoman Finlayson Approval of Agenda (any changes to the agenda should be made here) Alderwoman O'Neill moved to adopt the Regular Meeting Agenda as amended to remove O-12-24 until the next meeting on July 17th, 2024. Seconded. CARRIED on voice vote. Business and Miscellaneous Approval of Minutes FC 6.5.24 Regular Meeting Minutes Attachments: Journal Alderwoman O'Neill moved to approve FC 6.5.24. Seconded. CARRIED on voice vote. Fund Transfers FT-1-25 Parking and Transportation - Department of Transportation - Parking Operations/Administration Attachments: FT-1-25 Finance Director Dickinson was present to answer questions from the committee. Alderwoman O'Neill moved to recommend FT-1-25 favorably. Seconded. CARRIED on voice vote. Legislation City of Annapolis Page 2 Finance Committee Standing Committee Meeting July 3, 2024 Minutes - Final R-14-24 City of Annapolis Plastic Bag Reduction Act Fines - For the purpose of establishing fines required by the adoption of Ordinance 5-24, Health and Safety - City of Annapolis Plastic Bag Reduction Act. Sponsors: Savidge Attachments: R-14-24 First Reader O-5-24 & R-14-24 Staff Report O-5-24 & R-14-24 Fiscal Impact Note O-5-24 & R-14-24 Plastic Bag Ban Memorandum Deputy City Manager Guild and Finance Director Dickinson were present to answer questions from the committee. Alderwoman Tierney moved to postpone R-14-24 indefinitely. Seconded. CARRIED on voice vote. R-28-24 City-supported Special Events in Fiscal Year 2025 - For the purpose of adding the Annapolis Family Day Festival to annual City events and City-supported events; and waiving certain fees for the Annapolis Family Day Festival in in Fiscal Year 2025.
