Chambers, Jr. City Council Chambers Housing and Human Welfare Committee Housing and Human Welfare Standing Committee Meeting October 18, 2021 Committee Minutes Call To Order Chairman Gay called the meeting to order at 6:45 p.m. Roll Call Present: 2- Chairperson Gay and Alderman Schandelmeier Absent: 1- Alderwoman Tierney Approval of Agenda (any changes to the agenda should be made here) Alderman Schandelmeier moved to adopt the Regular Meeting Agenda. Seconded. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 2- Chairperson Gay and Alderman Schandelmeier Absent: 1- Alderwoman Tierney 1. Business and Miscellaneous Approval of Minutes HHW08.04.2 Approval of Minutes for the Special Meeting 1 Attachments: HHW08.04.21 No action taken Appointments and reappointments to Committees AP-6-21 The Appointment of Elisha Harig-Blaine to the Affordable Housing and Community Equity Development Commission Attachments: Resume Alderman Schandelmeier moved to recommend favorably AP-6-21. Seconded. A roll call vote was taken. Planning Administrator Rouse, and Chief of Community Development Wellman, were present and answered questions from the Committee. 2. Legislation before Committee O-19-21 Development Application Procedures - For the purpose of providing for community benefit input in the review of proposed development applications. Attachments: O-19-21 First Reader O-19-21 Staff Report O-19-21 Fiscal Impact Note O-19-21 Staff Report to PC O-19-21 PC Findings to CC O-19-21 Amendments 1-3 Finlayson, Savidge, Arnett Planning and Zoning Director Nash was present and answered questions from the Committee.
