Call To Order The Chair called the Meeting to order at 6:34 p.m. Also Present Aldermen Arnett and Kirby Present: 3- Alderman Paone, Alderwoman Finlayson and Alderwoman Pindell Charles 3. Business before Committee 4. General Discussion Police Department Budget Chief Pristoop presented the budget for the Police Department. The chief discussed the proposed furloghs. The members of the Finance Committee present requested accurate numbers for the Police Department personnel costs. Fire Department Budget Chief Stokes presented the Fire Department budget along with Deputy Chief Remaley and Deputy Chief Simmons. History of the Emergency Management Program Former Mayor Moyer spoke to the committee about the history and formation of the Emergency Management Program in Annapolis. EPARM Budget Deputy Chief Simmons discussed the EPARM budget. The committee discussed the risk management program. Deputy Cheif Simmons discussed the grant program in the department and how it benifits other departments. 5.
