The Chair called the Meeting to order at 5:37 p.m.
Fred Paone, Alderwoman Sheila Finlayson and Rhonda Pindell Charles
2. General Discussion
After Action Report - Forest Drive Traffic
Acting City Manager Woodward discussed the recent traffic incident on Forest Drive
and surrounding roads.
Discussion Topics:
Code Red
Applications being built with vendor in progress for notification via cell phone , texts, and
land lines
Using Amber Alerts and overhead signage on the entrances into the city
Discussion of Evacuation Plans
Deputy Chief Simmons
and Planner David Mandel spoke on the City of Annapolis Evacuation Plan .
EPARM distributed the City of Annapolis Evacuation Plan (attached) and City of
Annapolis Evacuation Routes
(attached)
Discussion with Unions on the City Budget
Mr. Wayne Fretterd VP Local 1926, Ms. Jamekica Mackall, StewardAFSME 3162, Mr.
Ricky Truitt Chief Steward UFCW Local 400, and Mr. Charles Bealefeld, Steward
UFCW Local 400 spoke on the effects of the proposed budget on employees and the
services they provide.
3. Adjournment
Upon motion duly made, seconded and adopted, the meeting was adjourned at
7:25 PM.
