Chambers, Jr. City Council Chambers 1. Call To Order The Chair called the Meeting to order at 5:03 p.m. Rollcall Present: 3- Alderman Paone, Alderwoman Finlayson and Alderwoman Pindell Charles 2. Business before Committee a. Approval of Minutes PSC051414 Approval of the minutes of the regular meeting Attachments: May 14, 2014 Alderman Paone moved to approve. Seconded. CARRIED on voice vote. Aye: 3- Alderman Paone, Alderwoman Finlayson and Alderwoman Pindell Charles 3. General Discussion ID-233-14 OEM Presentation of Emergency Management App Deputy Chief Simmons introduced the new iPhone/iPad app "Prepare Me Annapolis" OEM Planner Miller offered a presentation on how the app works. ID-234-14 APD Updates Attachments: Recent Crime Statstics Public Housing Crime Statistics Chief Pristoop discussed crime in public housing in Annapolis. The Chief offered crime statistics for the public housing areas. (attached) The Chief offered statistics on current crime trends. (attached) The Chief discussed the new Court Commissioner Laws. The Chief discussed the Public Housing banning policy. Chief Pristoop discussed the decriminalization of Marijuana. The Chief offered an update in the NARCAN program. The Committee requested that ward specific crime reports be sent to Alderpersons regularly. 4. Legislation before Committee O-22-14 Special Residential Parking District 1 - State Circle - For the purpose of authorizing a resident who occupies a dwelling unit in a building located on State Circle to be eligible for a permit in special residential parking district No. 1; and all other matters related to special residential parking district No. 1.
