Chairwomen Finlayson called the meeting to order at 4:19 p.m.

ID-26-15 Fire Department Update
Fire Chief Stokes gave a brief overview of the Departments 2014 & 2015 goals.

Fire Chief Stokes presents a personal check in the amount of $508 to Larry Griffin
representing We Care and Friends 92 West Washington Street, Annapolis, Maryland
21401 to match the funds raised in the Chili Cookoff.

ID-2-15 Police Overtime/Rally
Police Chief Pristoop gave a brief report on the status of the 8,000 spent on police
overtime for the rally in December 2014.

The committee discussed the Public Safety, and the Housing Authority Transition Team
recommendations, Policing of the Housing Authority properties, and the MOU
(Memorandum of Understanding) on the Coordinator of Activity on Housing Authority
Property.
Executive Director Leggett, Commissioner's Johnson, Henderson, and Mr. Griffith,
Operations for Housing Authority City of Annapolis 1217 Madison Street were all present,
and participated in the roundtable discussion.

Alderman Paone moved to recommend favorably the appointment of
Alderwomen Finlayson as chair of the Public Safety Committee. No changes
were noted in the scheduled meeting dates. Seconded. CARRIED on voice vote.
Aye: 2- Alderman Paone and Alderwoman Pindell Charles
Abstain: 1- Alderwoman Finlayson
4. Adjournment
Upon motion duly made, seconded and adopted, the meeting was adjourned at
6:09 p.m.
