Call To Order Chairwoman Finlayson called the meeting to order at 5:12 p.m. Roll Call Present: 3- Alderman Paone, Alderwoman Finlayson and Alderwoman Pindell Charles 2. Legislation before Committee O-3-15 Risk Management - For the purpose of providing that the City Council may establish written rules and regulations as necessary in the interest of risk management. Alderwoman Pindell Charles moved to recommend favorably. Seconded. CARRIED on voice vote. Aye: 3- Alderman Paone, Alderwoman Finlayson and Alderwoman Pindell Charles 3. Business before Committee Approval of Minutes PS031615 Approval of Minutes for the Regular Meeting Attachments: March 16, 2015 Alderwoman Pindell Charles moved to approve. Seconded. General Discussion ID-192-15 APD - Crime Update & Public Safety Initiatives Chief of Police Pristoop gave a presentation on Crime Updates and Public Safety Initiatives in the City of Annapolis. This Informational Item was presented ID-193-15 APD-Presentation by Captain Amoia- 700 MHz Radios City of Annapolis Page 1 Public Safety Committee Standing Committee Minutes April 20, 2015 Captain Amoia gave an update on the 700 MHz Radio's. This Informational Item was presented ID-165-15 OEM- Council Training in Emergency Management Exercise and Training Coordinator Miller gave a presentation on council training opportunities in emergency management. Deputy Chief Simmons was present and answered questions from the committee. This Informational Item was presented ID-166-15 OEM- Special Events Management- Felicia Nolan Development & Special Projects Coordinator Nolan gave an presentation on Special Events Management and answered questions from the committee. This Informational Item was presented ID-167-15 OEM- Hurricane Conference- Daniel Bucheli Community Services Specialist Bucheli gave a brief presentation on the Hurricane Conference that he attended. This Informational Item was presented ID-170-15 Fire- Joint City/County Report on Emergency Room Delays Fire Chief Stokes gave a presentation on emergency room delays and answered questions from the committee.
