ID-50-16 Review of 2015 and 2016 Departmental Goals & Review of Year End 2015
Stats- Fire
Fire Chief Stokes gave a presentation on the 2015 departmental statistic and goals and
the 2016 departmental goals. He also spoke on the Post Incident Action Report (PIA),
Updated Sprinkler Plan, Sprinkler Fund, and answered questions from the committee.

Deputy Chief Simmons gave a presentation on The Office of Emergency Management FY
2016 goals and answered questions from the committee.

ID-51-16 Front Desk Safety and Security- OEM
Risk Analyst O'Brien spoke about the Active Shooter Training and Front Desk Safety
and answered questions from the committee.

ID-47-16 Presentation on: Policy Change Recommendations by the Caucus of
African- American Leaders- APD
Police Chief Pristoop gave a presentation on the discussion topic and answered
questions from the committee.
Alderman Paone moved to recommend favorably to support the African
American Liasion Position in the City Manager's office.. Seconded. CARRIED on
voice vote.

Alderman Paone moved to confirm the nomination of Alderwoman Finalyson as
the chair of the Public Safety Committee. Seconded. CARRIED on voice vote.

Upon motion duly made, seconded and adopted, the meeting was adjourned at
