Village of Arcanum Special Council Meeting September 3, 2020 5:00 p.m. Call to Order President Pro Tem Jerry Boolman opened the meeting with the Pledge of Allegiance along with all present members of council. Roll Call Council Members present include Tim Philpot, Jacob Banks, Jerry Boolman, Rick Genovesi and Taylor Somers. Council Member Tim Philpot moved to excuse Council Member Tammy Bruner. Council Member Genovesi seconded. All present council members voted yea. Motion passed. Also present were Village Administrator Bill Kessler, Fiscal Officer Toni Stanley, Solicitor Nicole Pohlman, and Police Chief Marcus Ballinger. A motion to go into Executive Session to Discuss Matters of Confidentiality by Federal Law or Rules or State Statutes was made by Council Member Philpot. Council Member Genovesi seconded. Council moved into Executive Session at 5:01. A motion to return from Executive Session was made by Council Member Philpot. Council Member Genovesi seconded. Council moved out of Executive Session at 5:13. New Business Chief Ballinger brought to Council a proposed resolution for discussion and review prior to the 1st Reading at the next Council Meeting on September 8, 2020. He stated that this is currently policy but believed the Village may want to pass this legislation. Council was asked to review and evaluate the content and verbiage prior to the next Council meeting. Announcements – None Adjournment Council Member Banks moved to adjourn at 5:27pm.
