Village of Arcanum Organizational Council Meeting January 4, 2022 7:00 p.m. Call to Order Meeting was called to order. Roll Call VA Kessler proceeded with roll call. Council Members present included Jerry Boolman, David Hartley, Eric VanHoose, Rick Genovesi, Jacob Banks and Tim Philpot. Also present were VA Bill Kessler and Police Chief Marcus Ballinger. Organizational Items Council Member Banks moved to nominate Jerry Boolman as Council President Pro-Tem. No other nominations were made. Council Member Genovesi seconded. All council members present voted yea. Motion passed. Council Member Boolman closed nominations for Council President Pro-Tem. All council members concurred that there were no other nominations. Council Member Banks moved to elect Jerry Boolman as Council President Pro-Tem. Council Member Genovesi seconded. Council Member Jerry Boolman abstained from vote. All other present council members voted yea. Motion passed. Council Member Boolman accepted the Council President Pro-Tem position. Committee Chairs and members will be decided by next council meeting. Discussion was held on the responsibilities of the different roles within a committee. Announcements: There were no announcements. Adjournment: Council President Boolman motioned to adjourn. Council Member Hartley seconded. All present council members voted yea.
