Village of Arcanum Organizational Council Meeting January 5, 2021 7:00 p.m. Call to Order Mayor Bonnie Millard opened the meeting with the Pledge of Allegiance along with all present members of council. Roll Call Council Members present include Jerry Boolman, Taylor Somers, Tammy Bruner, Rick Genovesi, Jacob Banks and Tim Philpot. Also present were VA Bill Kessler, Fiscal Officer Toni Stanley and Police Chief Marcus Ballinger. Organizational Items Mayor Millard asked for nominations for Council President Pro-Tem. Council Member Philpot moved to nominate Jerry Boolman. No other nominations were made. Council Member Genovesi seconded. All council members present voted yea. Motion passed. Council Member Philpot moved to close nominations. Council Member Bruner seconded. All present council members voted yea. Motion passed and nominations closed. Council Member Philpot moved to elect Jerry Boolman as Council President Pro-Tem. Council Member Bruner seconded. All present council members voted yea. Motion passed. Council Member Boolman accepted the Council President Pro-Tem position. Committee Chairs and members will remain unchanged for 2021. Announcements: There were no announcements. Adjournment: Council President Boolman motioned to adjourn. Council Member Somers seconded. All present council members voted yea. Motion passed and meeting adjourned at 7:06pm.
