Comments:
The proposed changes to the back of the house are an improvement to the property.
The scale and massing and the design are appropriate.
The placement of the transoms and clerestory is appropriate; a bit of artistic license
taken but does not clash with the initial design.
The transoms on either side of the chimney do not quite fit with the additional
transom above the six-over-one.
The three light areas in the rear gable flanking either side of the chimney are atypical
but rear elevation of a non-historic addition leaves an opportunity for flexibility.
Address the window unit air-conditioner occupying what was a window opening in the
plans.
