Unified Government of Athens-Clarke County, Georgia Mayor and Commission Special Called Session Monday, June 28, 2021 4:40 p.m. City Hall/WebEx The Mayor and Commission of the Unified Government of Athens-Clarke County, Georgia met this date in a special called session. Present: Mayor Girtz; Commissioners Davenport, Parker, Link, Wright, Denson, Houle, Edwards, and Myers. Commissioners Thornton and Hamby were absent. The purpose of the meeting was to enter into executive session for discussion of personnel matters. A motion was made by Commissioner Edwards, seconded by Commissioner Parker, to enter into executive session for discussion of personnel matters. The motion passed by unanimous vote.
