Officer Cecily Evans gave an overview of the Athens Drug Lab.____________________ 10. Sherrie Hines announced the Mayor and Commission approved a local declaration of emergency, which means that when Athens-Clarke County is in a high community level of COVID-19 transmission, masks are required in public spaces. Athens-Clarke County policies when experiencing a COVID-19 high community level have a strong preference toward remote meetings or being in large spaces where people can practice social  distancing. Felix Bell seconded the motion. Timothy Pierce-Tomlin seconded the motion. After some discussion, Felix Bell withdrew the motion in favor for Jocelyn Crumpton’s Motion. _____________________________________________________________________ _____________________________________________________________________________ Jocelyn Crumpton made a motion to select a date to meet with NACOLE that falls on a Wednesday or Thursday. Felix Bell seconded the motion.
