Chair Cassie Evans opened the meeting. 2. Attendees gave introductions 3. Board members gave feedback on AADM event from 10.25.22 4. Announcements/Community Events:  a. ACCPD Trunk or Treat 10/28/22 from 6-8pm Eastside precinct b. Latinxfest 10/30/22 from 11-6pm downtown Athens 5. NACOLE Camme McEllhiney lead the board in a discussion about the Auditor/Monitor job description a. Discussion of the title of the position and who it might bring to the job → chose “Monitor” b. Discussion on the board’s involvement in the hiring process. Never happened before in the past, but worth adding it to the official recommendation to M+C. PSCOB would like to have a representative in the interview as well as the discussion around hiring. c. Discussion around how to include professional certifications in the qualifications d. Potential for ACC HR to come to the next meeting to answer specific questions 6. Future community event brainstorming a. ACCA, new ACCPD graduates b. People who previously filed a complaint c. Social media: Can be complicated i. Josh/Sherrie will talk with HRC ii. No other BAC has its own website iii. Felix Bell seconded. Motion approved unanimously. ● Cassie Evans made a motion to amend the agenda to add a section to approve minutes from AADM meeting. Jocelyn Crumpton seconded. Motion approved unanimously.  ● Lane Pratt made a motion to approve the 9.28.22 minutes. Timothy Pierce-Tomlin seconded.
