Welcome and Roll Call – Mayor Bob Abercrombie welcomed all in attendance and called roll. Those in attendance were Council Members Al Kettle, Nile Mathisen, Ben Allred, Shaun Murray Secretaries Kaelyn Meyers, and Anissa McDonald. b. Prayer – Ben Allred c. Pledge of Allegiance – Said by all in attendance. d. Conflicts of Interests -- All Council Members who have a conflict with any item on the agenda please state their concern. No Concerns stated. 2) UDOT UPDATE – Mayor Bob Abercrombie said Public Works Director Ben Mower went to the meeting where projects were discussed including 191 North of Vernal and Indian Canyon. Ben Mower brought up in the meeting that Ballard City would like to install a streetlight on 2500 east. Updates will be given as things move along. 3) 1500 E. 2000 S. CAMERA – Mayor Bob Abercrombie said that he received a quote from Ryan with Spectra and said that for the camera and install will be $2300.00 and that the city has paid half. Moon Lake will power the camera for $300.00 upfront and $15.00 per month thereafter. Equipment has been ordered and should be here within a month. 4) GENERATORS FOR OFFICE AND SHOP – Mayor Bob Abercrombie said that a generator has been approved in the past and he is talking to a company in Salt Lake for more details. Mayor Abercrombie will bring in more info next meeting. 5) ENGINEERING UPDATE – Jeff Baker gave update on road painting on 1500 east. 6) UINTAH COUNTY SHERIFF / COMMISSION REPORTS – No Sheriff was in attendance. 7) BOARD MEETING UPDATES – Council Member Al Kettle gave update from Planning & Zoning meeting. 8) OFFICE / PROJECTS REPORT Nothing to report on. 9) REVIEW AND CORRECT MINUTES - a. Council Meeting July 15, 2025 August 5, 2025 1  Motion made by Council Member Al Kettle to approve the minutes of July 15, 2025 as corrected, 2nd by Council Member Shaun Murray. All in favor. Council Member Nile Mathisen – gave update from animal district. Council Member Ben Allred – Went over bank reconciliations. Council Member Shaun Murray – Nothing to report on. 13) FINANCES: Checks, Statements, Reports and Budget Checks and finances were gone over and approved. Motion made by Council Member Shaun Murray to approve the finances, 2nd by Council member Ben Allred. All in favor.
