1) CALL CITY COUNCIL MEETING TO ORDER
a. Welcome and Roll Call – Mayor Bob Abercrombie welcomed all
in attendance and called roll. Those in attendance were Council Members Nile
Mathisen, Shaun Murray, secretaries Kaelyn Meyers and Anissa McDonald.
Council Members Al Kettle and Ben Allred were excused.
b. Prayer – Nile Mathisen
c. Pledge of Allegiance – Said by all in attendance.
d. Conflicts of Interests -- All Council Members who have a conflict with any item on the
agenda please state concern.
o No conflicts were stated.
2) FFSL WILDLAND INTERFACE CODE ADOPTION – HB48
Mayor Bob Abercrombie went over the FFSL Wildland Interface Code that needed to be
adopted. Corey Auger presented a map of what he considers to be wildland interface here for
the Basin area.
Motion made by Council Member Nile Mathisen to adopt FFSL Wildland Interface Code
202512-001, 2nd by Council Member Shaun Murray. All in favor.

3) 1000 S. ROADWAY MOU –
Mayor Bob Abercrombie went over the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for the 1000
South Roadway Project. Mayor Abercrombie stated that the MOU has been sent to the
Duchesne County SSD2 and Roosevelt City for their review and approval.
4) ENGINEERING UPDATE –
No Engineering update.
5) UINTAH COUNTY SHERIFF / COMMISSION REPORTS –
Deputy Pratt gave update from Uintah County Sheriff’s Office. Discussion was held
regarding the possible updating of the RV Trailer Court ordinance and putting stiffer penalties
and what will happen if in violation of ordination when living in camp trailers. Mayor Bob
Abercrombie said that he get with Attorney Clark Allred to update the ordinance.
6) BOARD MEETING UPDATES –
Council Member Shaun Murray gave update from Planning & Zoning meeting.

7) OFFICE / PROJECTS REPORT –
Nothing to report on.
8) REVIEW AND CORRECT MINUTES --
a. Council Meeting November 18, 2025
Motion made by Council Member Shaun Murray to approve the minutes of November 18,
2025 as written, 2nd by Council Member Nile Mathisen. All in favor.

Checks and finances were gone over and approved.
Motion made by Council Member Nile Mathisen to approve finances, 2nd by Council
Member Shaun Murray. All in favor.

13) ADJOURN COUNCIL MEETING
Motion made by Council Member Shaun Murray to adjourn meeting at 8:00 p.m., 2nd by
Council Member Nile Mathisen. All in favor.
