1. Call to Order: 1:05pm

5. Approval of Minutes: Minutes from the meeting on April 9, 2014 - Approved
6. New Business:
a. 89 Euclid (House)

Code Compliance Administrator: Dennis McKinley
Property owner, not present. Don Wilkinson, Building Inspector,
reported the house was discovered during and electrical
complaint and the inspector noted several problems and found
the house unlivable. The cost estimate of repair is $41,300 with
an SEV of $22,337. Mr. Hamilton affirmed it as a dangerous
building and gave thirty days to bring it into compliance.
b. 135 N McKinley (House)

Property owner, not present. Don Wilkinson, Building Inpsector
reported the house was damaged by fire. Mr. Wilkinson has not
been in contact with the property owner. Mr. Hamilton affirmed

it as a dangerous building and gave thirty days to bring it into
compliance.
c. 428 Upton (House)

Code Compliance Administrator: Dennis McKinley
Property owner, Tim Ruddock, present. Don Wilkinson, Building
Inspector, noted the house has been vacant and required a
safety inspection. The building lacks maintenance and requires
repairs. The cost estimate of repair is noted at $57,013 with an
SEV of $18,653. Mr. Ruddock is doing the repairs himself and
is currently taking care of his wife and works on the house as
time permits. Mr. Ruddock estimates it will take about six
months to a year to complete everything. Mr. Hamilton affirms it
as a dangerous building and gave 30 days to bring it into
compliance.
d. 260 N Wood (House)

Code Compliance Administrator: Dennis McKinley
Property owner, David King, present. Don Wilkinson, Building
Inspector, reported the roof on the garage attached to the house
has partially collapsed. Mr. King noted the garage has been
torn down and the debris is being cleaned up. Mr. Wilkinson
noted a demolition permit is needed for this project. Mr. King
noted the fascia and soffit needs to be fixed. Mr. Hamilton
affirmed it as a dangerous building and gave thirty days to bring
it into compliance.
