Roll Call: Carman Hamilton 3. Staff Members Present: Ted Hanson, Chief Building Official; Don Wilkinson, Building Inspector; Lisa Silkworth, Secretary. 4. Additions/Deletions to the Agenda: none 5. Approval of Minutes: Carman Hamilton approved the minutes from the March 9, 2016 meeting 6. New Business: a. 37 Charlotte (House) Issue#EN16-00440 Building Inspector: Don Wilkinson Property Owner, not present. Don Wilkinson, Building Inspector, stated the property has been vacant over 180 days and lacks utilities and maintenance. Carman Hamilton affirmed the property as a Dangerous Building and granted 30 days to bring it into compliance. Affirmed. b. 3 Highland Issue#EN16-00905 Building Inspector: Don Wilkinson Property Owner, not present. Don Wilkinson, Building Inspector, stated the property has been damaged by fire and will require extensive repairs. Carman Hamilton affirmed the property as a Dangerous Building and granted 30 days to bring it into compliance. Don Wilkinson, Building Inspector, stated the property has been vacant over 180 days and lacks utilities and maintenance. Carman Hamilton affirmed the property as a Dangerous Building and granted 30 days to bring it into compliance. Affirmed. d. 107 Lathrop Issue#EN16-00799 Building Inspector: Don Wilkinson Property Owner, not present. Don Wilkinson, Building Inspector, stated the property has been vacant over 180 days and sited as an active meth lab by the Police Department. Carman Hamilton affirmed the property as a Dangerous Building and granted 30 days to bring it into compliance. Affirmed. e. 105 Marjorie St (House) Issue#EN16-00441 Building Inspector: Don Wilkinson Property Owner, not present. Don Wilkinson, Building Inspector, stated the property has been vacant over 180 days and lacks utilities and maintenance. Carman Hamilton affirmed the property as a Dangerous Building and granted 30 days to bring it into compliance. Affirmed. f. 98 Somerset (House) Issue#EN16-00451 Building Inspector: Don Wilkinson Property Owner, not present. Don Wilkinson, Building Inspector, stated the property has been vacant over 180 days and lacks utilities and maintenance. Carman Hamilton affirmed the property as a Dangerous Building and granted 30 days to bring it into compliance. Affirmed. g. 33 Vale (House) Issue#EN16-00721 Dangerous Buildings Hearing April 13, 2016 Page 3 of 3 Building Inspector: Don Wilkinson Property Owner, LaVonza Wilson Fields, present. Don Wilkinson, Building Inspector, stated the property has been vacant and has had a safety inspection done in 2009. Mr. Wilkinson noted the owner has pulled permits. Ms. Wilson Fields stated she didn’t understand why it was a dangerous building. Mr. Wilkinson clarified the ordinance. Ms. Wilson Fields noted she could have the inspections scheduled within 45 days. Mr. Wilkinson recommended granting a 60 day extension to June 15, 2016. Ms. Wilson Fields will schedule her inspections within 7 days to get a temporary Certificate of Occupancy. Mr. Wilkinson stated Ms. Wilson Fields must obtain temporary Cert. of Occupancy. Carman Hamilton affirmed the property as a Dangerous Building and granted 60 days to bring it into compliance.
