meeting with NPC’s/City/NIBC some time in March 2013. Date will be forth
coming.
• Creating Change wants to get with the public and have an open dialog about the

please pass on to your ward Comm.

• Question about street cleaning not being done in the Post Addition as the
curb line is full of debris and garbage.
• Also, leaf waste should be addressed – drive thru the neighborhood and you
will see that there is a lot of standing leaf piles on the curb line as
well.
Planning: None
Beautiful Battle Creek Award: None. If you see a property that should be awarded
please take note of the address and bring to next meeting.

interest in being a member. Otherwise, we will act at Jan. meeting to have him

COMMISSIONER COMMENTS: Vice Mayor Fulton reported that Habitat for Humanity
Restore will be temporarily operating in the old Zucca Store. This location is in
the Target Plaza out on Beckley Ave. A question was asked about Re-Districting of
the wards since the last census and could we get a status on this?
Battle Creek Public Schools: No representation. Linda did report that the
addition is almost complete. She believes that the addition will open when the
students return from Christmas break. She wished everyone a Merry Christmas and A
Happy New Year.
OLD BUSINESS: James asked for nominations for Secretary as we did not have anyone
on the ballet for this position. Cindy voluntarily placed her name on the ballet.
She expressed that if she was not able to attend some meetings someone would have
to volunteer to take minutes. By a verbal vote, Cindy was elected as Secretary
with 1 abstention.

Thanks to Vice Mayor Fulton, Pat, and Cindy for the holiday goodies we enjoyed
