Rural Southwest Neighborhood Planning Council St. Peter’s Lutheran Church Minutes of the November 15, 2016 Meeting Call to Order: The meeting was called to order at 7:00 pm by Linda Morris. Members Present: Kingery Clingenpeel, Laura Clingenpeel, Robert Harland, Linda Morris, Cindy Snyder, Robert Snyder, George Wytko, Sally Wytko, Harry Zimmerman City Officials Present: Christine Zuzga, Planning Supervisor Approval of the Minutes: The minutes for October 11, 2016 were approved as read. Motions by R. Snyder/B. Harland. The following information was distributed:  Code Compliance report for Oct. 11, 2016 to Nov. 14, 2016  Copy of Snow/Ice Operations report as presented at the October meeting  2017 Meetings Schedule City Staff Updates: Chris Zuzga distributed the Code Compliance report and discussed property surveys. Old Business: None New Business: The new NPC logo was shared and liked by the council. George Wytko reported on the latest NPC Leadership Meeting. He discussed Tiffany Blackman’s presentation on grant funding from BCCF. We decided to pursue a grant from them to spruce up the Lois Drive berm as their funding limit would be within the quote given by the landscaping bid which was obtained by Shelby Winslow. We discussed the live traffic cameras which are being installed at locations across the city. Linda Morris commented on how useful they can be for travelers. The 2017 NPC9 Meeting Schedule was presented. Motion was made and approved to accept the meeting schedule as printed (B. Snyder/L. Clingenpeel). Due to lack of planned attendance at the February 14, 2017 meeting, a motion was then made and approved to amend the 2017 meeting schedule reflecting the cancellation of the 2/14/16 meeting (C. Snyder/L. Clingenpeel). Members thanked Linda for all of the work she has done on behalf of the council and for her service as chairman of the group.
