Rural Southwest Neighborhood Planning Council St. Peter Lutheran Church Minutes of the November 14, 2017 Meeting Call to Order: The meeting was called to order at 7: 00 pm by George Wytko. Members Present: Kingery Clingenpeel, Laura Clingenpeel, Linda Morris, Cindy Snyder, Robert Snyder, George Wytko, Sally Wytko, Harry Zimmerman Members Excused: Shelby Winslow, Rex Winslow City Officials Present: Officer Tom Burke, BCPD; Chris Lussier, Community Development Manager Approval of the Minutes: The minutes October 10, 2017 were approved as corrected. Cindy Snyder was absent. Robert Snyder was not absent. “Questions were asked about the use of property at Lois Drive and S.W. Capital (not Beckley Rd.).” Motions by H. Zimmerman/Bob Snyder. City Staff Updates:  Officer Burke distributed the Foot Patrol/Traffic Stops, and the Part 1 Crimes reports for the month of October in the Rural Southwest. He announced that an officer will be stationed at the Mall on Friday and Saturday evenings, and he discussed a new grant being implemented by the BCPD. He was thanked for checking on the homes of vacationing residents.  Chris Lussier distributed the Code Compliance report for 10/10/17 to 11/13/17. He also distributed the 2016-17 CDBG Funding report and answered question pertaining to the home repair program and the old citizen driven CDBG funding committee. Old Business - Committee Report: Motion was made and carried (H. Zimmerman/C Snyder) to accept the slate of officers for 2018 NPC #9 officers: George Wytko – Chairman, Laura Clingenpeel –Vice Chairman, Sally Wytko – Secretary. The city was thanked for its continued efforts to clean up the Lois Drive berm. New Business: Linda Morris announced that she will be resigning from NPC #9 effective November 15, 2017 The meeting was adjourned at 7:40 p.m. Motions by B. Snyder/L.
