CALL TO ORDER: ROLL CALL: Mr. Robert Dannaker Mr. Dallas Gallo Mr. Mark Edwards Mr. James Mills Mr. David Lomison APPROVAL OF MINUTES: January 10, 2021 PUBLIC COMMENT: PLANNING and ZONING ISSUES:  Discussion about setbacks pertaining to Infill Development of R-2 Town Residential District. (At some point, it changed from 7,500 square feet to 5,000 square feet for duplex.)  Adding language on retaining walls to ordinance, likely under fences.  Adding language for lot consolidation in the Subdivision & Land Development Ordinance. Upcoming:  Amending zoning for Short-term rentals (public hearing will be coming up in March)  Amending zoning for commercial building height requirement (public hearing come up in March) LAND DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITIES: None INFORMATION ITEMS: OLD BUSINESS:  Updated Draft Sign Ordinance (draft) – PC ACTION NEEDED o Included language in comments that would be used if feather signs were permitted. o HARB supports current draft ordinance on prohibiting feather signs from historic district o DBI is working on a signage program to possibly replace feather signs or at least encourage businesses to opt for nicer looking signage – which could be branded and tie in better with the downtown aesthetic.  Short Term Rental Ordinance – o Presenting the STR Committee’s work to council sometime late March / early April.
