Call to Order Council Member Vargas called the Committee to order. Roll Call Present: Committee Chair Pinky Vargas, Fourth Ward Committee Member Michael Lilliquist, Sixth Ward Committee Chair Hannah Stone, At-Large Council Standing Committee Meetings: Open to the public to attend. Note: there is generally no public comment period for Committee sessions. Standing Committee Members receive reports and information, ask questions and, when appropriate, vote on a recommended action for consideration by the full Council at the Regular Meeting. The notice of Committee Meetings identified below also serves as notice of Special Meetings of the City Council at the times identified as Council Members who are not members of the committee routinely attend and participate in the Committee Meetings. Committee Chairs give a report of the Committee Meeting at the Regular Meeting in the evening prior to deliberation and formal vote in the order shown below: Finance, Personnel and Economic Development Pinky Vargas, Chair Michael Lilliquist, Hannah Stone 22319 1. An Ordinance Amending the 2019-2020 Biennial Budget, Adding One p. 3 Position and Increasing Appropriation Authority in the Development Services Fund Council Member Vargas introduced the ordinance. Rick Sepler, Planning and Community Development Director, explained that a new staff member is necessary for the high demand of working to help the unsheltered in the community.
