Call to order and roll call Council President Stone called the meeting to order at 1 p.m. Present: Committee Chair Daniel Hammill, Third Ward Committee Member Hollie Huthman, Second Ward Committee Member Edwin H. "Skip" Williams, Fourth Ward Public Health, Safety, Justice, and Equity 24867 1. An ordinance regarding temporary alley closures for public health and safety Summary: Forrest Longman, Deputy Administrator, presented the ordinance, which allows the public works director to temporarily close alleys at the recommendation of the chief of police to disrupt criminal activity. Council Members discussed and asked questions. Action: Edwin H. "Skip" Williams moved to recommend approval of the ordinance. MOTION CARRIED 3-0.
