Transportation Commission Minutes City of Bellingham, Washington Tuesday 6:00 PM Pacific Street Operations Center (entrance off Carolina September 10, 2024 Street) and ZOOM Video Recorded https://meetings.cob.org Call to Order Commission Chair Addie Candib called the meeting to order at 6:04 PM Roll Call Members Present – Addie Candib, Chair; Tim Wilder, Vice Chair; Jamin Agosti; Cindy Dennis; Keith Moore; Katy Scherrer Members Absent – Caroline Dietzgen; Jacki Quinn; Betty Sanchez Staff Present – Dylan Casper; Michelle Cristelli; Elena Dixon; Steve Haugen; Tim Hohmann; Riley Grant; Joel Pfundt; Shane Sullivan Agenda Items Approval of the 7/9/2024 Transportation Commission Meeting Minutes – Moved to approve by Tim Wilder, approved 6-0. Neighborhood Traffic Safety Program Update – Shane Sullivan updated the Commissioners on the Traffic Safety Program. City staff answered Commission questions and collected Commissioner comments regarding the NTSP. Capital Improvement Project Update – Tim Hohmann and Joel Pfundt presented on the current Capital Improvement Projects. City staff answered Commission questions regarding the Capital Improvement Project update. Committee Reports Tim Wilder – WTA will be rolling out services to the waterfront in a test pilot for the next year to address some of the transportation needs that are growing on the waterfront. Announcements Mike Olinger and Joel Pfundt are sharing duties of Interim Public Works Director, duties have been split between them. At this time, we are unsure of the timeline for a new Director to be hired. Mike Wilson, Assistant Public Work Director will be taking on a more active role in the Transportation Commission meetings.
