Roll Call Members Present – Addie Candib, Chair; Tim Wilder, Vice Chair; Aaron Miller, Cindy Dennis, Jamin Agosti, Jacki Quinn, Betty Sanchez Staff Present – Connor Harron, Riley Grant, Joel Pfundt, Mike Wilson, Tim Hohmann, Elena Dixon, Karri Neuhauser Other Present – Hayden Richardson (WTA) Public Comment 3 minutes per person, 15 minutes max Agenda Items Public Meeting . Meeting Minutes 4/8/2025 Motion to approve 4/8/2025 minutes by Tim Wilder. Seconded by Betty Sanchez. . Whatcom Transportation Authority (WTA) Rapid Transit Study Preliminary Locally Preferred Alternative Presentation by Hayden Richardson of WTA. Hayden Richardson, Tim Wilder, and City Staff answered Commissioner questions. . Eldridge Avenue Pilot Project Tim Hohmann presented on the Eldridge Avenue Pilot Project. City staff answered Commissioner questions. Commissioner Jamin Agosti made a motion to approve Resolution 2025-01 as amended. Seconded by Tim Wilder, Vice Chair. Motion carried 6-0 with 1 abstention.  . Six-year Transportation Improvement Plan (TIP) City Staff Interim Public Works Co-Director, Joel Pfundt proposed Six-year TIP. Commissioner Jamin Agosti made a motion to approve Resolution 2025-02. Seconded by Jacki Quinn. Motion carried 6-0 with 1 abstention. Staff Report City staff reported on pending shoulder work, paving, striping, and lighting that will start on James Street from Orchard to Telegraph. In addition, improvements to lighting on Hannegan and a portion of Meridian have been made. Riley Grant introduced Connor Harron as the new Public Works Communications & Outreach Coordinator. Riley reported on the status of the Community Streets Program community survey. Joel Pfundt provided an update for recruitment for Public Works Director. Chair Report Addie Candib reported on the status of vacancies for Transportation Commission. Announcements No other announcements. Adjournment Meeting adjourned at 8:07pm.
