Call To Order
The Transportation Commission meeting was called to order by the Chair at 6:00 PM.
Roll Call
Present: Jamin Agosti (Commission Member), Addie Candib (Commission Member), Cindy Dennis (Commission Member), Aaron
Miller (Commission Member), Betty Sanchez (Commission Member), Tim Wilder (Commission Member), Jonathan Huegel
(Commission Member), Andrea Reiter (Commission Member)
Absent: Jacki Quinn (Commission Member)
Staff Present: Riley Grant, Tim Hohmann, Mike Wilson, Dylan Casper, Shane Sullivan, Karri Neuhauser

Miles Silverman commented on proposed speed limit changes.
Public Meeting
. Consider Approval of 7/8/2025 Meeting Minutes
Motion to approve 7/8/2025 minutes by Betty Sanchez, second by Jamin Agosti. Motion passed.
. Whatcom Transit Authority (WTA) 2026 Proposed Service Changes
Malcolm Duncan-Graves from WTA presented proposed service changes. WTA staff
responded to commissioner questions.
. Speed limit setting policy discussion
Paul Sharman from Transpo Group presented. City staff and presenter answered
commissioner questions. Aaron Miller arrived and participated in this agenda item.
. Bellingham Plan update
Dylan Casper presented an update on the Bellingham Plan. Dylan responded to
commissioner questions.
. Staff Report
Dylan Casper provided an update on the Transportation Report on Annual Mobility
(TRAM).
Shane Sullivan provided an update on the Community Streets Program and answered
commissioner questions.
Mike Wilson provided an update on Commute Trip Reduction. CTR is still in process,
and we will be bringing it back in a future meeting.
Tim Hohman gave an update on Holly Street redesign. Design is still in process; we plan
to bring it to the commission by the end of the year. Staff responded to commissioner
comments.
