Motion: Second 4) Resolution: Brown’s Lane Report #3 consisting of vendor 4 totaling: $12,805.65. Motion: Second 5) Review the draft Board Meeting Minutes of February 26, 2024. Motion: Second: 6) Request by Duane Wall to be reimbursed for his 2024 season boat slip which he surrendered, in the amount of $1,314.00. Motion: Second: 7) Discussion for changing the term of office for Trustees and Mayor from two to four years (permissive referendum). Motion: Second: 8) Accept the resignation from Kyle Geraghty AEO DPW effective March 28, 2024. South Country Road from Fire house to the gazebo by Community Center. Motion: Second: • Kreamer Street Elementary School would like to use the picnic area at the dock on the following days: Monday, June 10th Kindergarten Rain Date: June 11th Friday, May 31st Grade two (2) Rain Date: June 13th th Friday, June 7 Grade one (1) Rain Date: June 12th th Thursday, June 20 Grade three (3) Rain Date: June 21st P.T.A. would like to barbeque at the picnic are on Thursday, June 20th during the third- grade trip to bay. Motion: Second: • Approve the Bellport Baseball Booster Club to use the Community Center June 6, 2024 from 4:00 pm – 9:00 pm. Motion: Second: • Approve Blood Drive/New York Blood Center to hold Blood Drive at the Bellport Community Center on Sunday, August 11th from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm. Motion: Second: • Approve the Safe Haven Adoption Event on May 11, 2024 (rain date June 1, 2024) from 10:30 am to 2:00 pm. Cross street of Bellport Lane & Bell Street where gazebo is to the right of Porters. Motion: Second: • Approve the following requests for Bellport Chamber of Commerce: May 25th from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm Memorial Day Weekend/Sidewalk Shopping August 31st from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm Last Licks of Summer/Labor Day Weekend October 12th from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm Discover Bellport/Columbus Weekend October 26th from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm Halloween Parade November 30th from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm (soup contest from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm) o Small Business Saturday and Soup Contest December 14th from 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm Holiday Stroll. Motion: Second: • Approve Darcia Palmer to attend the NYGFOA Annual Conference from April 17th - 19th at the Albany Marriott in Albany, New York. Motion: Second: • Accept a gift of approximately eight trees from The Bellport Garden to be planted by the Highway Department. Location of trees will be planted along Village streets at various locations approved by the Highway Department. Motion: Second: Executive Session (if needed) Page | 3
