City of Belton, Texas City Council Meeting Agenda Tuesday, May 13, 2025 - 5:30 p.m. Wright Room at the Harris Community Center 401 N. Alexander, Belton, Texas Pledge of Allegiance. The Pledge of Allegiance to the U.S. Flag will be led by Councilmember Craig Pearson. Texas Pledge. Executive Session pursuant to the provision of the Open Meetings Law, Chapter 551, Govt. Code, Vernon's Texas Codes Annotated, in accordance with the authority contained in Section 551.071, Consultation with Attorney. Hold a public hearing and consider an ordinance amending Chapter 2 of the Code of Ordinances to establish the Municipal Court of Record in the City of Belton. 10. Consider the approval of contracts and administration of the Oath of Office for the following: A. Presiding Judge of the Municipal Court of Record in the City of Belton; B. Associate Judge of the Municipal Court of Record in the City of Belton; and C. Assistant City Attorney/Municipal Prosecutor of the Municipal Court of Record in the City of Belton. 11. Presentation: Youth Advisory Commission – End of Year Report Consent Agenda Items 12-14 under this section are considered to be routine by the City Council and may be enacted by one motion. If discussion is desired by the Council, any item may be removed from the Consent Agenda prior to voting, at the request of any Councilmember, and it will be considered separately: 12. Consider a resolution authorizing release from the City of Belton’s ETJ of approximately 2.7 acres owned by Jeff Poole and situated in Abstract 554 of the F. City Council Meeting Agenda May 13, 2025 Page 2 of 3  Madrigal Survey 24, located generally east of Tollbridge Road and north of Elmer King Road. 14. Consider an ordinance adding Tyler Ridge Belton, approximately 113.4 acres, located generally east of Hubbard Branch Addition on FM 436/Holland Road, to the City of Belton’s ETJ.
