TOWN OF VERMONT PLAN COMMISSION MEETING December 19, 2022 – 6:00 p.m. Call to order and posting certification Doug called the meeting to order at 6:02 p.m. The meeting was properly noticed: posted on the front door of Town Hall, posted on the town website, emailed to the online subscribers, and published in the Mount Horeb Mail and Star News. Present: Doug Meier, Diane Anderson, Dean Bossenbroek, Jim Elleson, Scott Moe, Tim Pierce Absent: Nick Balster Approval of agenda Dean moved and Jim seconded a motion to approve the agenda. Motion carried 6-0. Approval of November meeting minutes Jim moved and Doug seconded a motion to approve the November meeting minutes. Motion carried 6-0. Public Input/General Comments None. Review of letters sent to new landowners in the township Doug moved and Tim seconded a motion to table this item for the next meeting. Motion carried 6-0. Webpage review and update • Looking for data in each new category • Keyword search would take them to the ordinance • Need to collect data from old site and populate the new • Ongoing process and will review next month Driveway ordinance review, entrances, public safety standards, etc. • Reviewed the current ordinance from the website • Suggested changes were made to make the ordinance clearer and more precise • Will review again next month before making recommendations to the board Agenda items for the next meeting.
