Business Improvement District (BID) Board

A meeting of the Business Improvement District (BID) Board was held at City Hall on August 14, 2025 at 5:30 P.M. Board members Kylee Wussow, Duane Johnson, Mark Hanson, Andrea Hoffman, and Vincent Meyer were present. The City Administrator was also present. There were no citizens in attendance. 1. The City Administrator called the meeting to order at 5:30 pm. 2. It was moved by Kylee Wussow, seconded by Duane Johnson to approve the purchase of new holiday wreaths & roping for the decorative lamp posts from Falls Florist & Greenhouse at a cost of $826.00. Motion carried. 3. It was moved by Andrea Hoffman, seconded by Mark Hanson to not renew the Connect Community Agreement between the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) and the City of Black River Falls and not pay the FY26 participation fee of $200.00. Motion carried (4-1) with Duane Johnson voting no. 4. It was moved by Kylee Wussow, seconded by Duane Johnson to approve the Signage Grant application from Ed Davis for property at 34 South First Street for a $750.00. Motion carried. 5.
