Business Improvement District (BID) Board

A meeting of the Business Improvement District (BID) Board was held at City Hall on October 16, 2025 at 5:30 P.M. Board members Duane Johnson, Mark Hanson, Andrea Hoffman, and Vincent Meyer were present. Board member Kylee Wussow was excused. Matt Gardner with Lamar Outdoor attended remotely via Zoom meetings. The City Administrator was also present. 1. The City Administrator called the meeting to order at 5:30 pm. 2. It was moved by D. Johnson, seconded by M. Hanson to approve up to $1,000 for Downtown Trick or Treating candy. Motion carried. 3. It was moved by Alderperson D. Johnson, seconded by V. Meyer to approve up to $1,320 for Small Business Saturday. Motion carried. 4. The Board reviewed and discussed creative options for a 14’x48’ I-94 billboard. There was consensus to move forward with Lamar working on 4 to 7 ideas to be presented at the October 23rd meeting. 5. It was moved by A. Hoffman, seconded by M. Hanson to adjourn.
