1.
Meghan Mitchell-presents a Christmas Creche & Nativity Evening using LDS Stake building in
Independence, Bluffdale and asks for help and support from BAAB. They hope to engage the
community to share their creche's, talent in art and music, and perhaps a live Nativity manger scene.
To be held December 3-4, 2021.
The focus is not to be a single church (LDS) activity but a multi-church and full community activity.
The Independence Stake would be the founding sponsor by providing a place to hold the activity and
provide services, i.e. parking attendants.
Laura shows concern that if the BAAB is involved that it must not be a LDS focused function.
Meghan assures that it will be a community function.
BAAB has committed to help with this activity by allowing them to use our available materials, i.e.
scenery, costumes, metal art grid walls to hang art on and use of our publicizing contacts- through
email and social media. BAAB will sh are through media the opportunity to sign-up to share their art
and music at this event.
Lynn Farley makes motion for BAAB to support this, Angelle Anderson seconds it. All other
attending Board members voted in support of it.
Meghan will write up a publicity blurb for us to use.

3.
Report on "Annie" play.
Cast members got Covidl9, including the "Daddy Warbucks" actor, which caused the entire play to
shut down to protect others from getting the virus.
- Amanda reported she has refunded all online tickets. Lynn says GrowTi.x is continually sending
notices that the account has some discrepancies. Amanda will look into it.
- Laura still working on the money spent on the play; Laura says the expense will not be a lot because
she used monies from last year's budget.
Cast did one private performance for other cast members and families.
4.
Old West Days - BAAB'S picture booth.
- BAAB did not h ave booth this year because Lynn Farley (who usually runs it) was gone and
assignments given got mixed up and it fell apart.
- Laura suggest we give the booth back to the city. BAAB is finding it difficult to continue doing it
because of lack of manpower to want to do it. The time commitment is difficult because the
Board/committee is coming off summer plays. Old West Days comes the week after play closure.
Too tired to do a parade float from BAAB.
- Amanda w ill talk to husband, Kory, if the Historical Committee would be interested in taking it
over. The Historical committee is looking for a fundraiser.
- Julie Fox said she would call Connie Pavlakis about ideas of doing a straight play as part of Old
West Days.
- Krissy suggested we have actors do an orchestrated gunfight for "Old West Days."
5.
The straight plays this past summer were so successful.
- Joanne says she needed more h elp with the stage help.
- Kelsha suggested using the summer plays to train technical help. She suggests opening up a
technical training program.
6.
30+1 Variety Show
- Kelsha says Eric will program light but need someone to run it.
- Suggested Tech helpers: Peter Allen, Logan Winberg, Merrick _ _.
- Hidden Valley Middle School. Four performances. Friday, Nov 5. Matinee and evening on
Saturday, Nov. 6. Monday Nov. 8.

up for Marianne. Need 2 people to scan tickets, 2 people to take cash/check.

- Program done by Amanda. Do both printed and virtual programs. Amanda will create PDF, Lynn
will put on site.
- Be at school 6: 15 to set up tables and signs for tickets and concession.
