F-350 Pick-up Truck Purchase Recommendation Consider the recommendation from Director of Public Works & Utilities Doug Varney to approve the purchase order contract for a 2024 Ford F-350 Dual Wheel 4X 4 Pick-up Truck to Bob Mathers Ford of Boyne City MI in an amount not-to-exceed $52,611.20 per the quotation dated 8/17/2023 and to authorize the City Manager to execute the necessary documents. 10. NEW BUSINESS A. City Attorney Update B. Closed Session Request Consider the request from City Manager Michael Cain to go into closed session for discussion of collective bargaining strategy as provided in MCL 15.323 (a) of the Michigan Open Meetings Act (PA 317 of 1976) 11. ANNOUNCEMENTS • City Hall will be closed on Monday, September 4, 2023 in observance of Labor Day • The next regular City Commission meeting is scheduled for September 12, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. 13.
