Planning Commission Regular Meeting Minutes – September 18, 2023 B. Main Street Board Regular Meeting Minutes – October 5, 2023 C. Parks and Recreation Regular Meeting Minutes – October 12, 2023 D. Planning Commission Regular Meeting Minutes – October 16, 2023 E. Airport Advisory Board Regular Meeting Minutes – October 26, 2023 11. OLD BUSINESS A. Historic District Ordinance Repeal First Reading Consider the recommendation from Planning Director Scott McPherson to approve a second reading of the proposed repeal of Chapter 30, Article II – Historic Districts, on January 9, 2024 or later, and to authorize City Staff to facilitate scheduling. B. Legal Services Proposals City Commission to determine how it would like to proceed. 12. NEW BUSINESS A. Agreement with Lake Superior State University for Student Clinical Ride Along Consider the recommendation from EMS Director Brenda Willson to authorize the City Manager to sign the Lake Superior State University Student Clinical Ride Along agreement as presented. B. Michigan Fire Equipment Grant Consider the recommendation from Fire Chief Dennis Amesbury to authorize the City Manager to approve the purchase of a thermal imaging camera from CSI and to authorize the purchase of nineteen helmets from Westshore Fire and to submit receipts to the Michigan Fire Grant Program for reimbursement. C. FYE 2023 Audit Review Consider the recommendation from City Manager Michael Cain that the City Commission schedule the annual audit presentation for its December 12th 7pm meeting and schedule an audit review work session to begin at 4pm. D. 2024 Season Rate Recommendations for the F. Grant Moore Municipal Marina Updates will be provided on this matter as additional information becomes available. E. New Commission Possible Discussion Topics Consider the recommendation from City Manager Michael Cain that each City Commissioner review and indicate what items, on the list or not, are things they think the Commission should go into further. 13. GOOD OF THE ORDER 14. ANNOUNCEMENTS • The next regular City Commission meeting is scheduled for November 28, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. 15.
