Resolution to Allow Active Members of the Volunteer Fire Department to Enroll in NYSHIP at Full Cost NEXT REGULAR BOARD OF TRUSTEES MEETING – TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 12, 2024 1  VILLAGE OF BRIARCLIFF MANOR BOARD OF TRUSTEES AGENDA OCTOBER 28, 2024 1. RESOLUTION TO ALLOW VILLAGE BOARD MEMBERS TO ENROLL IN NYSHIP AT FULL COST NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Village Board of Trustees exercises it discretion to allow members of the Village Board to enroll in the New York State Health Insurance Program (NYSHIP), provided that any Board member that enrolls must pay both the employee and employer shares of the premium, and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that these enrollees shall pay no later than the 10th of every month. 2  VILLAGE OF BRIARCLIFF MANOR BOARD OF TRUSTEES AGENDA OCTOBER 28, 2024 2. RESOLUTION TO ALLOW ACTIVE MEMBERS OF THE VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT TO ENROLL IN NYSHIP AT FULL COST NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Village Board of Trustees exercises it discretion to allow active members of the Village’s Volunteer Fire Department to enroll in the New York State Health Insurance Program (NYSHIP), provided that any Volunteer Fire Department member that enrolls must pay both the employee and employer shares of the premium, and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the definition of active will mean the same as prescribed per Village Code for the Volunteer Fire Property Tax exemption, and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that these enrollees shall pay no later than the 10th of every month. 3
