TOWN COUNCIL REGULAR MEETING Thursday, January 02, 2025 at 7:00 PM Council Chamber Bristol Municipal Complex MINUTES CALL MEETING TO ORDER Council President Jeff Beachy called the Bristol Town Council meeting to order at 7:00p, Thursday, January 2, 2025. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE led by Cathy Antonelli, followed by a moment of silence for the Country in remembrance for those lives we’ve lost (ref to New Orleans and Las Vegas) ROLL CALL Members Present: Doug DeSmith, Cathy Burke, Jeff Beachy Members Absent: Gregg Tuholski, Dean Rentfrow Others in attendance: Marshal Steve Priem, Clerk-Treasurer Cathy Antonelli, Town Manager Mike Yoder, Fire Chief Nik Kantz and Legal Counsel Alex Bowman (via Zoom) APPROVAL OF AGENDA stands as published. APPROVAL OF INVOICES  Motion to approve the invoices made by Cathy Burke, Seconded by Doug DeSmith. Voting Yea: Doug DeSmith, Cathy Burke, Jeff Beachy. Motion carries. APPROVAL OF MINUTES - no minutes to approve this evening PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT ITEMS – no items this evening REPORTS TOWN MANAGER Mike Yoder Borden waste away contract - renew or rebid services -brief discussion. Mike to get pricing from Borden’s and have something for the work session to look at the new pricing and then determine if we want to rebid. Water project SRF application for payment # 11 Contractor: Phoenix Fabricators & Erectors LLC for bonds and insurance $172,000.00 – Total ($8,600.00 – retainage and $163,400.00 - to contractor)  Motion to approve SRF distribution #11 in the amount of $172K made by Doug DeSmith, Seconded by Cathy Burke. Voting Yea: Doug DeSmith, Cathy Burke, Jeff Beachy. Motion carries. SRF funding request #12 Contractor: Niblock - water main work on Mainstreet $291,804 - Total ($36,312 – retainage and $255,492 - to contractor)  Motion to approve SRF distribution #12 in the amount of $291,804 made by Cathy Burke, Seconded by Doug DeSmith. Voting Yea: Doug DeSmith, Cathy Burke, Jeff Beachy.
