MINUTES OF THE CITY OF BRISTOL TENNESSEE SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING September 7, 2012 CALL TO ORDER: The City of Bristol Tennessee City Council meeting was called to order by Mayor Joel Staton on Friday, September 7, 2012, at 8:00 a.m. in the Ewell L. Easley Municipal Building (City Hall Annex). ROLLCALL: Present: Mayor Joel Staton, Vice Mayor Ben Zandi, Councilwoman Michelle Dolan, Councilwoman Margaret Feierabend and Councilman David Shumaker. Others Present: City Manager Jeff Broughton; Mike Sparks, Deputy City Manager- Development; and Jack Hyder, City Attorney. ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS: A. Resolutions: Resolution No. 12-96 - A Resolution Approving the Economic Impact Plan for the Bristol West Economic Development Area The Economic Impact Plan for the Bristol West Development Area was prepared and approved by the city's Industrial Development Board and submitted to the City Council. City Manager Jeff Broughton reviewed the economic impact plan and the proposed development project during a contemporaneous meeting of the Industrial Development Board. Councilman Zandi moved to approve, and Councilwoman Dolan seconded. The Resolution passed by unanimous roll call vote.
