MINUTES OF DECEMBER 19, 2016 BRISTOL, TENNESSEE/VIRGINIA REGIONAL WASTEWATER SYSTEM SEWER OVERSIGHT COMMITTEE MEETING A scheduled meeting of the Sewer Oversight Committee was held Monday, December 19, 2016 at 7:30 A.M. at the Wastewater Treatment Plant in the Compost Production Facility meeting room. Present: Bristol, Tennessee Mr. William L. CALL TO ORDER Mr. Sorah chaired and opened the meeting. II. APPROVAL OF MINUTES Mr. Bowman moved to approve the minutes of the September 19, 2016 meeting. Ms. Powers seconded the motion and it was unanimously approved without discussion. III. OLD BUSINESS There was no old business. IV. NEW BUSINESS A. Financial Report for Fiscal Year Ending June 30, 2016 Mr. Matt Hill of Mauldin & Jenkins Certified Public Accountants reviewed the Financial Report June 30, 2016 included in the packet. Due to illness Mr. Hill presented the report via telephone. Discussion ensued. No action was required. B. Consideration of the Annual Operations and Maintenance Report Proposal Mr. Sorah reviewed the Annual Operations and Maintenance Report Proposal included in the packet. Ms. Powers moved to accept the proposal. Mr. Bowman seconded the motion and it was unanimously approved after discussion. V. REPORTS A. Plant Operations Mr. Dake reviewed the Operating Summary included in the packet. Discussion ensued. No action was required. B. Industrial Monitoring 1. Quarterly Summary Mr. Dake reviewed the Industrial Pretreatment Program report included in the packet. Discussion ensued. No action was required. 2. Semi-Annual Report Mr. Dake reviewed the Semiannual Industrial Pretreatment Report included in the packet. Discussion ensued. No action was required. C. Financial Ms. Musick reviewed the Joint Sewerage System report included in the packet. Discussion ensued. No action was required. 1 Minutes – Sewer Oversight Committee December 19, 2016 VI. ADJOURNMENT The next Sewer Oversight Committee meeting is scheduled for March 20, 2017 at the wastewater treatment plant. With no further business to discuss the meeting was adjourned at 9:33 A.M.
