Page 3 of 4  MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE CITY OF BROOKLYN CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION TUESDAY, DECEMBER 9, 2025 4:30 P.M. Meeting called to order at 4:30 p.m. by Chairperson Patta MEMBERS PRESENT: Chairperson Patta, Commissioner Sefchik, Commissioner Barrow Secretary Westfall informed the Commission that there were five (5) contested questions from the Police Sergeant Promotional Exam. Commission is reviewing and discussing the questions, protests and recommendations. MOTION by Chairperson Patta, second by Commissioner Barrow to delete Question #13. VOTE RESULTED: Yeas-Patta, Sefchik, Barrow. Nays-None. MOTION by Chairperson Patta, second by Commissioner Sefchik to maintain ‘C’ as the correct answer to Question #20. VOTE RESULTED: Yeas- Patta, Sefchik, Barrow. Nays-None. MOTION by Chairperson Patta, second by Commissioner Barrow to maintain ‘C’ as the correct answer to Question #36. VOTE RESULTED: Yeas-Patta, Sefchik, Barrow. Nays-None MOTION by Chairperson Patta, second by Commissioner Sefchik to amend Question #72 to ‘C’. VOTE RESULTED: Yeas-Patta, Sefchik, Barrow. Nays-None. MOTION by Commissioner Barrow, second by Chairperson Patta to maintain ‘D’ as the correct answer to Question #89. VOTE RESULTED: Yeas- Patta, Sefchik, Barrow. Nays- None. Commission confirmed the next regular meeting is for December 17, 2025. MOTION by Chairperson Patta to adjourn, second by Commissioner Sefchik. VOTE RESULTED: Yeas –Patta, Sefchik, Barrow.
