Canistota City Council Proceedings Canistota City Council met Monday, September 19, 2022 at 6:00 PM in the Canistota City Hall Community Room. City Council Members present: Mayor Justin Engbarth, Donovan O’Donnell, Jamie Miller, and Brad Miller. Jessica Kerher arrived at 6:09 PM. Others present: Finance Officer Kathy Townsend, Maintenance Assistant Brandon Dolejsi, and Darin Ligtenberg, Snyder & Associates. Mayor Engbarth called the meeting to order at 6:03 PM. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited On a motion by O’Donnell, second by B. Miller, the agenda was approved as presented with no corrections, all voted yes, the motion carried. D Ligtenberg of Snyder & Associates reviewed Phase 3 project updates with the Council reviewing several items in Snyder & Associates updated contract, such as the construction crew will have 120 working days to complete the project, Kyle will be on site most of the time observing the project on behalf of the City and Snyder Associates. Ligtenberg submitted Amendment #1 to the original contract with Snyder & Associates, increasing their fee to a total of $580,000.00 to the existing engineering agreement for the Phase 3 Improvement Project. The amendment was approved on a motion by J. Miller, seconded by B. Miller, roll call vote: O’Donnell yes, B. Miller, yes, J. Miller, yes, Kerher abstained, the motion carried. There was no one present for citizen concerns. On a motion by Kerher, second by B. Miller, the meeting was adjourned at 6:47 PM, all voted yes, the motion carried. Canistota City Council will meet in regular session on Monday October 3, 2022 at 7 PM in the Community Room of City Hall, all are welcome to attend.
